LimX Dynamics on Monday unveiled the LimX Luna humanoid robot, priced at RMB 298,000 ($41,000). Standing 160cm tall, the LimX Luna features 27 degrees of freedom across its body and is powered by the company’s second-generation SYS 0 motion control engine. The robot also comes with upgraded cooling and battery life, while supporting multimodal interaction capabilities. LimX Luna is designed for commercial and entertainment scenarios, including shopping mall assistance, immersive role-playing NPC experiences, and theme park interactions. The robot can also learn dance movements by analyzing a video clip.
The system supports task-trigger settings through a no-code interface, according to the company. Users can simply describe their needs in natural language, and the robot will automatically generate the corresponding triggers and execution workflows. [IThome, in Chinese]
