Todo el pelotn estaba avisado ante la llegada de posibles abanicos en la jornada de hoy. Apuntaba a jornada al sprint, pero la entrada de viento lateral podra propiciar cortes en el pelotn y… han pillado al equipo del lder.
Sobre el kilmetro 80 de etapa, Visma se ha puesto a tirar delante y han conseguido cortar al pelotn, quedando todos los blancos, menos Pogacar en el grupo trasero. El maillot amarillo qued aislado con Red-Bull BORA Hansgrohe, Visma Lease a Bike, INEOS Grenadiers. Una situacin indita que ha obligado a tomar medidas a los directores de la escuadra emirat para paliar la crisis.
«Quin est por delante? Es Tadej? Si est solo Tadej y quiz Pavel (Sivakov)», han comunicado por la radio del equipo. Tras ello el grupo del equipo ha recuperado la posicin y han protegido a su lder que haba quedado expuesto con Visma tirando.
Tras solventar la crisis y con la situacin restablecida, el pelotn rueda unido a la espera del sprint final en Dijon.
